Eagles Pointe was masterfully crafted by Davis Love III, whose influence is evident throughout, with heavy emphasis on strategic shot-making and thoughtful course management.  Eagle's Pointe is set against a backdrop of the picturesque Lowcountry, with the course winding through lush forests, natural wetlands, and serene lagoons.  The course is known for its player-friendly design, with wide, inviting fairways that accommodate a range of playing abilities. However, don’t be fooled by the course’s seemingly forgiving nature—with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards that are very much in play, Eagles Pointe is still a considerable test.   From long par-5s that require lengthy drives and precise approach shots to shorter par-3s that demand accuracy and finesse, Eagle's Pointe keeps golfers on their toes from start to finish.

Signature Holes:

•  7th Hole: This hole is a classic risk-reward par-5 that challenges players with a water hazard on the right side of the fairway. A well-struck drive sets up the possibility of reaching the green in two, but players must decide whether to take on the water with their second shot or lay up for a safer approach. The green is guarded by bunkers, adding to the complexity of the approach shot.

• 9th Hole: The 9th hole is a memorable par-4 that requires a precise tee shot to avoid the water hazard on the left side of the fairway. The approach shot is equally demanding, with a narrow green protected by bunkers and water on the left. Club selection and accuracy are crucial on this hole, making it one of the most challenging on the course.

• 17th Hole: The 17th hole is a stunning par-3 that plays over water to a well-protected green. The tee shot is all about accuracy, as the green is surrounded by water on three sides and bunkers on the remaining side. The hole is as visually striking as it is challenging, offering a last test of nerves as the round nears it's conclusion.
